MINDY GILLIS graduated from Jacksonville University with a degree in Biology. She started her journey as an educator in Jacksonville at Heritage Institute teaching Massage Therapy. While at Heritage, she had the pleasure of speaking on the benefits of Massage Therapy for a Jacksonville television program called “Prescription for Health”. She also had the honor of being named “Teacher of the Year” during her tenure.

She began employment with Mayo Clinic Jacksonville in August of 2006 as an Education Specialist in the Department of Workforce Education & Development. Her areas of responsibility include: Coordinator for Communication in Healthcare and New Employee Orientation as well as Teacher/Facilitator for various Allied Health classes. Mindy has also had the opportunity to view and retain speakers for Mayo Clinic.
