Our Featured Speaker is:

Pam Lontos
I See Your Name Everywhere

Ever wonder why some speakers command thousands of dollars for only one appearance? Their schedules are booked solid, and they're considered experts in their fields. You may have even heard some of them speak. Have you ever wondered why they're making so much more than you – especially since you're just as dynamic and your message is equally unique? Their secret weapon: They know how to use the power of print and other forms of media to advance their careers.

Pam Lontos is founder and president of PR/PR, a public relations firm in Orlando that specializes in speakers, authors, and experts. She is the author of “I See Your Name Everywhere,” published by Morgan James, a former professional speaker, and past Vice-President of Sales for Disney's Shamrock Broadcasting in charge of 8 radio and 2 television stations, and a production company. She knows what it takes to successfully promote your speaking career or publicize your book. During her presentation, you'll learn how publicity can help you reach your goals, raise your speaking fee and sell more books and products.
Pam will also share her secrets on:
  • How to get your articles published
  • How to generate business from your publicity
  • How to find your "hook"
  • How to get an editor or writer on the telephone
  • How to get the media to want your story
  • How to get your book mentioned on radio or television or in print
  • How to get journalists to quote you as an expert
  • How to use your publicity in a press kit you send to meeting planners

This is a highly interactive presentation. During the session the audience will have an opportunity to develop their own personal “hooks,” access their target media, create article ideas, and write a press release. You will even walk out with an outline for an article for you to get published.

Pam has recently placed clients in The Wall Street Journal, Entrepreneur, Selling Power, US News & World Report, Cosmopolitan, Los Angeles Times, BusinessWeek, Forbes, and USA Today.

Her clients include Brian Tracy, Emmy nominated actress Diane Ladd, LeAnn Thieman (author of Chicken Soup for the Nurse’s Soul), Jason Jennings (author of Less is More), and Sy Sperling (founder of Hair Club for Men). PR/PR works with beginning speakers and as well as those who are already established.

Our Meeting Planner Presenter is:

Blue Cross Blue Shield of Florida is completing a multi million dollar theater and convention center on site.

Chapter Off to a Great Start

I am so pleased with the responses I have received regarding our first member meeting. We could not have gotten off to a better start. Even better, we have a great slate of speakers lined up for the rest of the year. I look forward to getting to know all of you better, and us growing our businesses together.

I hope to see many of you in New York in August at NSA's National Conference where we will accept our certificate of membership into the NSA fold.
